Koh Phangan Information:
It is interesting how can quitness and party can mix so perfectly on the island. On one side, you can join the non-stop parties attracting visitors with a wide range of music, fire works and party style.
The south eastern part of Koh Panghan is the main party area which includes HaadRin and the full moon party beach. Nearly all of the area surrounding HaadRin is mountains making most of the beautiful fine white sandy beaches unaccessable by road, the only way to get to them is by boat from Had Rin.
Like it's neighbour island Koh Tao, Koh Phangan was at first discovered by backpackers seeking a sanctuary from the overcrowded Koh Samui and recently, the island has an amazing number of options for activities, parties, places to stay and alternative yoga resorts.
As a natural paradise retreat in the South-central Gulf of Thailand, Phangan serves as the perfect getaway retreat. Koh Phangan was before a backpackers destination, by now a more mixed range of visitors arrives here. A tought many of them have in common, they want to search a nice and interesting place.
